The MSJCE EG (VE) Meeting was hosted by Singapore through the National Environment Agency (NEA) on 21 May 2025. The meeting was co-chaired by Dr. Norhazni binti Mat Sari, Deputy Director General (Operation), DOE, Malaysia, and Ms. Tan Li Yen, Group Director, Clean Environment Group, NEA, Singapore.

The Malaysian DOE delegation comprised representatives from the Enforcement Division, Water and Marine Division, Air Division, Hazardous Substances Division, Strategic Communication Division, Environment Institute of Malaysia (EiMAS), as well as DOE State of Johor. The Singapore delegation included officers from NEA and the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE).

As part of the MSJCE EG (VE) programme, a working visit was held from 21 to 22 May 2025. The visit included a demonstration of the Vehicle Emission Test at Woodlands Checkpoint, as well as site visits to Sengkang Bus Depot and the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS).

Through the MSJCE EG (VE) platform, this ongoing cooperation is hoped to strengthen the exchange of expertise, technology transfer, and enforcement strategies between both countries in the shared effort to protect the environment and promote the well-being of both Malaysia and Singapore.
