Notification of Public Display for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report

Department of Environment (DOE) Malaysia is reviewing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for

THE PROPOSED MINING OPERATIONS OF A RARE EARTH ELEMENTS (REE) EXTRACTION PROJECT FROM ION ADSORPTION CLAY (IAC) DEPOSITS WITHIN A 180-HECTARES AREA AT PT3730, KAWASAN KHAS, BANDAR DATO’ BENTARA, PANGGONG LALAT, MUKIM BATU PAPAN, GALAS DISTRICT, GUA MUSANG, KELANTAN DARUL NAIM” OLEH SUNRISE ECOTECH SDN. BHD.

The public are welcome to submit written comments on the EIA Report during the public display time. This EIA report will be display from 20 September 2026 to 19October 2026 and public comment until 3 November 2026.
