Notification of Public Display for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report

The Department of Environment (DOE) Malaysia is reviewing an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for Project

LAPORAN PENILAIAN KESAN KEPADA ALAM SEKELILING (EIA) BAGI CADANGAN “THE PROPOSED RARE EARTH MINERAL PROCESSING OF 110,000 MT/YEAR LANTHANIDE CONCENTRATE (LC) AND 69,000 MT/YEAR MIXED RARE EARTH CARBONATE (MREC) AT LYNAS ADVANCED MATERIALS PLANT (LAMP), GEBENG INDUSTRIAL ESTATE (GIE), BALOK, PAHANG FOR LYNAS MALAYSIA SDN. BHD.”

The public are welcome to submit written comments on the EIA Report during the public display period. This EIA report will be displayed from 10 April 2026 to 9 Mei 2026 with public comments accepted until 24 Mei 2026.
