It is becoming a global issue which the Government of Malaysia has also been addressing.

Generators include all the individuals and entities who have e-waste to discard.
All generators must discharge their household E-wastes into the formal collection channels. All must bring to the authorized collectors/collection centers.

“Private Entities ” include Manufactures and Retailers of E-appliances, as well as Collectors, Transporters and Recyclers of E-waste.

DOE is now drafting a new regulation, Environmental Quality (Household Scheduled Waste) Regulation, which under reviewed by Attorney General’s Chambers of Malaysia (AGC Malaysia).
